about

Here's an album about empathy for life, in particular animals, grounding the listener in organic landscapes, complex and pleasant textures.

Waldorf Microwave XT comes to visit, I fall in love with it again, and as usual, most tracks are unedited and recorded live, blah blah. Big on 'The Ambient' but upbeat and rhythmic.

This album explores music as a storage medium for 'positive' emotion. While some suffering is meaningful, most of what living things are subjected to is random cruelty.

My idea was to encode happier moments in music and immortalize it on the internet. At least for me, personally, music is second only to olfactory data when it comes to recalling people, places, experiences.
