Feeling pretty good about the recent soundscapes, I wanted to get back to something more driven by rhythm and generally challenge myself. Not to mention dust off the sampler.

Experiments with self composing beats unfold, human intervention keeps things entropic.....

Seems like every time I sit down in front of the noise machines I learn something new. Making this album made me realize that I won't reach the level of complexity I'm reaching for without a marriage of pre-design and improvisation. For whatever is next, that is a goal.

Track 7 wraps this album up. I have mixed feelings about how Cubes came together but overall it was an worthwhile venture and I hope it proves interesting.
